Orange Shirt Day - Thursday, September 30th

September 30th is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. To honour this day, please have your child wear orange. Orange Shirt Day is an annual event that started in 2013 to recognize the legacy of the Residential School System for First Nations, Metis and Inuit families and communities. It is a show of support and understanding of the history of the school system that impacts many Indigenous families today. We will be hosting a Virtual Assembly to honour and remember those children and families affected by Residential Schools.
