Monday, March 16 Day 4
-The Cree word of the day is Ka-si-chi-che. That is the Cree word for WASH YOUR HANDS! We have three rules at our school – Be Kind, Work Hard, and Ka-si-chi-che!
-The Book Fair has been postponed. We will reschedule in the Spring.
-Tomorrow is St Patrick’s Day! Remember to wear all the green you can find!
Tuesday, March 17 Day 5
-The Cree word of the day is As-kih-tak-waw. That is the Cree word for Green! It is so good to see everyone wearing As-kih-tak-waw in honour of St Patrick’s day!
-There are Band Sectionals today
Wednesday, March 18 Day 1
-The Cree word of the day is mi-mi-ko-pe-ki-ni-ke. That is the Cree word for hand wash. By now, we all know the importance of mi-mi-ko-pe-ki-ni-ke.
-There is no collaboration nor reading buddies today
Thursday, March 19
-Although we had once scheduled this day as our Celebration of Learning, there will be regular school this day.
-The Cree word of the day is mi-yos-ka-min. That is the Cree word for Spring. Friday is the first official day of mi-yos-ka-min and we are so excited that Winter is over!
-Remember that there is no school for students tomorrow.
