Summer Programming - Playscapes

 Attend PlayEscapes in 2015

PlayEscapes is a FREE summer drop-in program offered by the City of Regina. The program offers leader-facilitated play opportunities that develop and foster life skills, creativity, imagination, positive self-image and promote a physically active lifestyle. Self-directed play is the key to the PlayEscapes program. Children engage in play they select by themselves and are encouraged to explore and discover activities they enjoy. The City of Regina is partnering with Regina Education, and Action on Child Hunger (REACH) to offer a lunch/snack program at some of the sites with support provided in partnership with The Salvation Army and PotashCorp. PlayEscapes is for all children entering Kindergarten (must be 5 years old by December 31, 2015) through Grade 7. PlayEscapes welcomes children and youth of all abilities. Participants who may need assistance during the program are asked to bring an attendant.

PlayEscapes will run Monday - Friday, July 6 to August 14. There will be no program on Monday, August 3.Program hours are 9:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Some locations will operate in the mornings or afternoons only.
